The 10th Pendik Book Fair Has Started

The 10th Pendik Book Fair, organized this year by Pendik Municipality, has officially started. The ten-day fair will once again serve as a key meeting point for authors, publishers, and readers.

Held at the event area on the Pendik coastline, this year’s fair features 151 publishing houses. As always, it also includes second-hand bookstores that are especially popular among collectors. On the first day, the fair attracted significant attention from students, offering thousands of books across various categories, from literature and research to encyclopedias and history.

Daily Author Talks

This year, 109 authors are participating in the 10th Pendik Book Fair. Daily author talks will be held throughout the event. Authors will also sign their books for visitors at the stage and publishing house booths.

Notable Author: Mehmet Ercan from the Sumud Fleet

Among the participating authors is Mehmet Ercan, known as a producer and writer, and prominently involved in the Sumud Fleet, which provides humanitarian aid to Gaza. During his talk, he will share both his books and his experiences with the Sumud Fleet with the audience.
