The 20th International Traditional Handicrafts Festival, organized this year by Pendik Municipality and concluded last weekend, attracted widespread attention. The festival, featuring a total of 63 artists from 10 different countries and various provinces of Turkey, welcomed 100,000 art enthusiasts over the course of a week, setting a new attendance record.
Organized for the 20th time by Pendik Municipality, the International Traditional Handicrafts Festival ended with record participation. Over the week-long event, exactly 100,000 visitors attended. The festival showcased works from 16 artists from 10 different countries—including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Crimea, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Northern Cyprus, and Iran—as well as 47 artists from various regions of Turkey at Pendik Coastal Square. Visitors had the opportunity to explore a wide range of traditional handicrafts, from needle lace and wooden toys to ceramics and tiles.
