Pendik Municipality continues to make life easier for citizens with disabilities through its social municipality approach. In situations where physically disabled individuals face difficulties using public transportation, the Disabled Transport Service facilitates their access to public institutions and organizations located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.

Pendik Municipality continues its Disabled Transport Service to help physically disabled citizens participate more easily in social life. Individuals who have difficulty using public transportation are safely transported to public institutions and organizations on the Anatolian side with special vehicles provided by the municipality. Within the scope of this service, citizens with appointments can reach their destinations safely and comfortably using specially equipped vehicles. Carrying out an average of 400 transport operations per month, Pendik Municipality aims to make the daily lives of disabled individuals easier through this initiative.
