DUTIES
Monitor legislation related to the directorate’s areas of activity and fulfill the requirements of the legislation within the prescribed time.
Conduct and finalize work and procedures that require follow-up with other authorities on behalf of the directorate.
Carry out activities in accordance with the strategic plan, annual performance program, investment program, and the directorate’s budget.
Perform necessary work to fulfill the duties and responsibilities specified in the Pendik Municipality Internal Control Action Plan.
Respond to incoming letters and petitions within the prescribed period. In accordance with Law No. 3071, provide written information within 30 days for applications submitted via petition, and notify separately the results if the process is announced.
With the knowledge and approval of the Mayor or relevant Deputy Mayor, provide information and documents to applicants, except for exceptions, in accordance with Law No. 4982 on the Right to Information.
Prepare and finalize entitlements for all kinds of procurement, service acquisitions, and construction works required by the directorate in accordance with Law No. 4734 on Public Procurement.
Conduct necessary work to determine the medium- and long-term strategies and policies of the municipality and establish their objectives.
Ensure records of the directorate’s activities are kept and, if necessary, archived, protected, and preserved.
Communicate with other municipal units, official institutions, professional chambers, and parties involved in tender processes when required.
Provide the necessary data flow to the Press and Public Relations Directorate for announcements and promotions related to the directorate’s responsibilities.
Ensure the execution of meetings of the Municipal Council, Executive Committee, and Specialized Municipal Council Commissions.
Prepare agendas for Municipal Council and Executive Committee meetings and ensure they are sent to Council Members.
Manage attendance and timesheets for Municipal Council and Executive Committee Members.
Oversee the registration and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents and petitions received by mail.
Within the electronic document management system, verify that all documents signed electronically and sent outside the institution are properly electronically signed.
Manage marriage services.
Ensure the registration, review, and filing of marriage applications, record marriage procedures in the marriage registry, prepare marriage certificates, and deliver them to couples who have completed the marriage ceremony.
Report marriage information to the Population Directorate after the completion of marriage procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by the legislation.
