DUTIES

  • Monitor the legislation related to the directorate’s fields of activity and ensure compliance within the required timeframe.

  • Conduct and finalize tasks and procedures that need to be followed up with other administrative bodies.

  • Execute work in accordance with the strategic plan, annual performance program, investment program, and the directorate’s budget.

  • Perform necessary actions to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the Pendik Municipality Internal Control Action Plan.

  • Respond to incoming letters and petitions within the stipulated time. In accordance with Law No. 3071, provide written information within 30 days for applications submitted via petition, and additionally notify the result if the progress of the procedure is announced.

  • With the knowledge and approval of the Mayor or relevant Deputy Mayor, provide information and documents to applicants under the Law on Right to Information No. 4982, except for exemptions.

  • Under Public Procurement Law No. 4734, arrange and finalize the entitlement of all types of goods procurement, service procurement, and construction works required by the directorate.

  • Determine the municipality’s medium- and long-term strategies and policies, and carry out necessary work to achieve its objectives.

  • Ensure records of the directorate’s operations are kept and, if necessary, archived, protected, and maintained.

  • Correspond with other municipal units, official institutions, professional chambers, and stakeholders involved in procurement processes when needed.

  • Provide necessary data flow to the Directorate of Press, Publication, and Public Relations for announcements and promotions related to the directorate’s area of responsibility.

  • Issue zoning status documents.

  • Issue building permits.

  • Carry out condominium establishment (kat irtifakı) procedures.

  • Evaluate citizens’ written and verbal zoning requests within the district by conducting on-site inspections and file reviews.

  • Submit relevant citizen requests to the Architectural Aesthetics Commission.

  • Issue zoning status certificates.

  • Issue building permits (new construction, alterations, reconstruction, renovation, name changes).

  • Review and approve architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical projects, and ground survey reports attached to building permits in accordance with applicable legislation.

  • Regularly notify the issued building permits to relevant public institutions and professional chambers.

  • Approve condominium (kat irtifakı) projects and upload approved projects into the Land Registry and Cadastre system.

  • Approve elevator implementation projects.

  • Approve mechanical and electrical installation projects.

  • Handle expert appraisal procedures and requests.

  • Process independent section corrections received from Lihkab.

  • Grant reinforcement permits for buildings with building registration certificates or damage assessment reports.

  • Ensure relevant citizen requests are submitted to the Architectural Aesthetics Commission.

  • Evaluate citizens’ written and verbal zoning requests within the district by conducting on-site inspections and file reviews.
